River City Girls is a frantic beat-'em-up action game for one or two players with gorgeous pixel art, anime and manga cutscenes, and a fantastic soundtrack. Trouble is brewing on the streets of River City once again, but this time the guys are in big trouble. Two girlfriends fight hard for their boyfriends, who were captured in the previous game. As you fight your way through the city, either alone or with a friend in co-op mode, you'll gain new skills, earn power-ups, acquire a variety of weapons, and unlock an arsenal of combos, throws, and special attacks that will make the bad guys cry for mommy. There are half a dozen large city districts to fight your way through, with shops and side quests, plus tons of items, weapons, and abilities to customize your heroines.
